There has just been something wrong with the pacing of these movies. It almost feels like they are trying to get out everything that they possibly can before the audience loses interest. This film spends so much time answering the many questions that were logically set up to be explored in the second film. Unfortunately, due to the different visions that inevitably exist when you employ a different director for the second film, you essentially wind up with a frantic third act in which the original director must budget a considerable portion of the script addressing those issues without leaving any room for the audience to breathe from one scene to another in order to push the story to its finale. Overall, the story provided closure to this third trilogy in the Palpatine/Skywalker saga. However, it just does not leave me with that feel of a trilogy that I will want to return to like the original. Who knows, though, maybe time will soften my resolve on this stance as it did on episodes 1-3 and their cringey scripting.

I went in saying "no way they can give me the redemption of Ben. NOW I couldn"t imagine him not being in it.
As a movie it ties in all 9 movies and can be seen as all the Jedi fighting all the sith in one last battle. Not to mention the colossal space battle going on in the background.
Comedy did not miss a beat.

Without going into too much detail, I lost count on the amount of small moments that either made me laugh, cry or smile.
